Focus & Kindness

If we want to do anything worthwhile, we need to focus.

So we can cut through the noise and see what matters.

And keep going when the going gets tough.

But we also need kindness.

Because focus without kindness is brutal.

An attempt to dominate ourselves.

With kindness we can work with our minds rather than against them.

We can dance with our feelings instead of avoiding them.

This can be a gift to ourselves.

Healing fragmentation and division.

And when you learn to focus, you're better able to do the work that matters.

Which is a gift to others.
